Working for Home-Start Essex means doing something powerful for the community.

We support hundreds of families each year, through over 200 professionally trained volunteers who are trained, supervised and supported by locally based Family Co-ordinators. The Family Co-ordinators are also responsible for meeting with each family to identify what help they need and agreeing and reviewing their programme of family support. We also employ a number of staff with specialist skills in child and adult focussed support. Our Senior Management and administrative staff team are responsible for ensuring the quality, continual improvement and smooth running of Home-Start Services. Supported by an exceptional Board of Trustees, the charity has a strong core, and an even stronger workforce
