Professional Referral

What happens next?

Once we receive your request, one of our local Family Support Co‑ordinators will contact you or the family you’ve referred to talk through the support needed. They will then arrange an initial visit or phone call. During this first conversation, they will explain which of our services are available and the best fit for the family.

If we are unable to offer support straight away because the local team is at full capacity, the family will be added to our waiting list for up to 12 weeks. This list is managed by our Area Lead Co‑ordinators.

If a space becomes available within the 12‑week period, we will contact the family to arrange the initial assessment. If we still cannot offer support after 12 weeks, we will let the family—and the referrer, if applicable—know.
