  • Flexible Opportunities: Choose from a variety of volunteer roles in Essex—home visiting, fundraising, events, and more. You can combine roles to suit your interests.

Volunteer Training 

We make sure every volunteer feels confident and prepared. All roles require a mix of e-learning and live sessions, tailored to the role you choose.

For Family Support roles, you’ll complete a Preparation Course, offered in flexible formats to suit your schedule:

  • Morning sessions: 4 × 2-hour sessions
  • Afternoon sessions: 4 × 2-hour sessions
  • Evening sessions: 4 × 2-hour sessions
  • Condensed options: 2 × 4-hour sessions or 1 × 6-hour session
  • Monthly drop-in sessions for extra support

Other roles require selected elements of the e-learning & preparation course. We will guide you through what’s needed once you apply.
